Eric Mintel Quartet plays Dave BrubeckAcclaimed Eric Mintel Jazz Quartet will return to Heritage to perform original compositions as well as the music of jazz legend, Dave Brubeck. The quartet led by Pennsylvania native, Eric Mintel, has become one of the top jazz combos performing in the country. Noted for their easy, classical jazz style, eth Eric Mintel Quartet has played venues from the White House, to the Kennedy Center, to Marian McPartland's Piano Jazz, to XM Satellite Radio’s Real Jazz 70.

Perhaps Dave Brubeck himself said it best, “ as long as the music attracts dedicated young musicians like Eric Mintel, jazz will continue to thrive and progress as a voice of freedom.” All outstanding musicians in their own right, the quartet consists of Eric Mintel on piano, Dave Antonow, acoustic and electric bass, Nelson Hill, Saxes & flute, and Dave Mohn on drums. The program will begin with a primer on  “How to Listen to Jazz.” Don’t miss this inspirational evening of jazz!
