One again, Heritage Museums & Gardens and the Cape Cod Antique Dealers Association will co-present an Antique Seminar on Thursday, September 18. The day will begin at 9am with registration and coffee. The program will commence at 9:30 and a luncheon and social hour are scheduled from 12 noon – 1:30pm. 

Judy Harmon of Decoys Unlimited, Inc. of West Barnstable will illustrate the unique qualities attributed to the artwork of Anthony Elmer Crowell, a Bird Carving Genius which enable collectors to conclusively identify his work. Executive Director of the Cape Cod Maritime Museum, Mark C. Wilkins will offer an insightful discussion on the U.S.S. Constitution and the Birth of the American Blue-Water Navy. Ted and

Lorraine German from Mad River Antiques in North Granby, Ct will discuss The History of Textiles in America and its Influence on the Development of the 19th Century Quilt taking it from the domain of the wealthy and placing it into the lives of every American family. Brad Finch of Spyglass Antiques will display Early Nautical Instruments and relate them to their use in the early days of navigation.
