Smirkusology: A Science Extravaganza!
Join the Circus Smirkus Big Top Tour for a scientific extravaganza, Smirkus-style! This year’s show is a spectacle of science called Smirkusology. The story revolves around an innovative team of quirky, crackerjack scientists, attempting to formulate the chemical compound of circus. From molecular contortions to astrological proportions, they create it all: electrified acrobats, anti-gravity aerialists and gyroscopic jugglers. Unwind your mind, put your thinking cap on and join Smirkus for the silliest scientific spectacle, a virtual universe of whimsical wizardry and the discovery of the greatest invention of all time: pure joy. The result is a rousing celebration, chock-full of invention and suspension, gadgets and gizmos and the infinite magic of circus, sure to bring audiences to their feet!
Performances will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 2 & 7pm. Ticket are $22.00 for adults and $18.00 for children for all shows. Children under two are free if sitting on an adult lap. To purchase tickets contact the Circus Barn at 877-SMIRKUS toll free or visit the colorful Smirkus website above.
Please note: Tickets will not be sold through Heritage Museums & Gardens.

This year’s troupe hails from Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York and Vermont, with international troupers from Colombia, France and Ethiopia.
