A Night at the Museum: Girl Scout Overnight Event

Join Heritage Museums & Gardens for the Girl Scout Overnight Event, from 6:30pm Friday, April 30 to 9:30am Saturday, May 1, 2010! Brownie, Junior, and Teen Scouts will arrive at 6:30pm and visit several activity stations throughout the museum buildings and grounds as we discover where the wild things are at Heritage! Activities are listed below, with Brownies earning the “Watching Wildlife” try-it, Juniors earning the “Wildlife” badge, and Teens completing the “Wildlife” interest project. Other evening activities include a run through the starlit maze, a campfire with marshmallows, a ride on the carousel, karaoke, and an evening snack. After sleeping next to exciting museum collections, scouts will enjoy breakfast, a morning ride on the carousel, and free time to explore additional exhibits and walk through the gardens. By the end of the event, scouts will earn a special Heritage patch!

Fees: $35 per Girl Scout, $20 per adult. Price includes all activity materials, a special patch, evening snack, and breakfast.

Registration is required for this event. Registration deadline is April 23, and scouts can be registered as an individual or as a troop. Once registered, adults will receive a confirmation packet with additional information. Participants are also required to pay a 50% deposit and return permission forms before the event.
