Families of all ages will go on a treasure hunt like never before as they follow clues along the nature trails throughout Heritage. Start my making a bandana for your family team to show your pride and adventurous spirit! Then you will receive your clues that will take you on the nature trails in search of treasure. Some trails will make you count steps, others will ask you to identify and follow animal footprints, but all will lead to fun treasure for everyone to take home!
As the sun sets, everyone will meet for a bonfire. Since you will have worked up an appetite during your hike, you will cook up several types of gourmet s'mores to taste test! And what would a campfire be without some songs and stories, so everyone will join in for some silliness. Finally, create a 'tin punch' lantern to take on your walk back through Heritage whose light will guide you home!
Registration is required; registration deadline: July 30. Fee: $6 Members, $8 Non-Members.
