Bring your creativity to this great Heritage Museums & Gardens family event! Join us as we celebrate our two newest exhibits, Art of the Final Farewell and The Art of Frank Vining Smith, as well as artwork throughout Heritage. This event is perfect for all ages to enjoy inspiration and creativity in every form! Activities include:

Watch a gravestone carving demonstration by artist Dave Wheelock
Design your own car
Sculpt a bird “carving” from foam
Visit a family art stop artifact station
Add to a work of sidewalk art
Experiment with painting techniques (you won’t believe the items you will paint with!)
Design a family flag
Make a solar nature print
Paint in an Impressionist style in the garden
Take an artwork I-Spy challenge
Create maritime paintings

Hidden Hollow will also feature several nature-inspired art projects with the help of Katherine M. Douglas, author of Engaging Learners Through Artmaking!
