American Echoes Summer Concert Series
All shows are held outdoors on Heritage’s concert stage beginning at 7:30 pm, gates open at 6:30. Ticket prices are $18 for members and $22 for non-members in advance, and $25 on the night of the show.
Kick off your summer with a performance featuring two gifted singer-songwriters. German-born Antje Duvekot will begin the evening with her fresh palette and gifted insight. The artist has been attracting national attention since her 2006 album, Big Dream Boulevard. Music producer Neil Dorfsman describes Duvekot’s songs best as “an entire detailed world in verse…with beautiful and understated melody.”
Then Cheryl Wheeler will take the stage with her silky alto and rare gift for writing songs with lyrics of incredible beauty while at the same time posses a quick wit. These two forces take separate turns and meld into the same artistic vision. Wheeler will tell a story that has you rolling in the aisles, and then sing a song that leaves you wiping tears from your eyes. Join us for an evening of beautifully crafted songs and compelling performances!
