Gardener’s Days at Heritage Museums & Gardens
Saturday, May 31 - Sunday, June 1
10am – 5pm
 
Join us at Heritage for Gardeners Days where there will be something for everyone: plants, books, tools, and information all during peak bloom of the Famous Dexter Rhododendrons. The Plant Sale will be held in front of the Museum Store and will include Dexter Rhododendrons, Hosta, Hydrangea Daylilies, and Rhododendron Yellow Gate. On Saturday the Sandwich Club of the American Rhododendron Society will hold a rare rhododendron auction. On Sunday Rhododendron expert John Delano will give a tour of the Dexter & Cowles Rhododendrons. 
 
Hybridizer Charles Dexter, portrayed by Dennis Murphy, will be in the garden talking about rhododendron care. Both days will be filled with practical demonstrations and plant care programs including Flower Arranging, Cooking with Herbs, Painted Pots, Container Gardening, Spa Treatments in the Garden, d Journaling in the Garden and Exercise in the Garden! Additionally there will be How to Grow Sessions on Hosta, Daylilies and Hydrangeas.
 
All activities are free with museum admission. Be sure to visit Heritage this weekend, combined with the Antique Show and Sale there is sure to be something for everyone!
