Group Visits
Heritage Museums & Gardens welcomes adult tour groups at the discounted rate of $7 per person. To receive this rate, pre-reservation is required. Special guided tours of the gardens or museums may be available. To enhance your visit, Heritage offers a complimentary shuttle service, a delightful cafe and an irresistible gift shop. School and Youth Group Visits
Who invented the automobile? What secret soldier disguised herself so that she could fight in the Revolutionary War? Why did sailors risk their lives hunting for whales? Learn the answers to these questions and many more by taking an exciting adventure to the past at Heritage Museums & Gardens. Listed in the chart below is information on the school group tours we offer for pre-K to Grade 12 students.

• Tours are available Monday through Friday from April to October and by appointment in November and December.
• Please arrive on time, as our guides await your arrival. If you are more than 30 minutes late you forfeit your guided program.
• Please call 508.888.3300 ext 160 with the following information: teacher contact, school address and phone number, 3 possible fieldtrip dates, tour choice, time of arrival and number of students.
• We require a minimum of two weeks advance notice for tour reservations.
• For spring tours, the most popular time for fieldtrips, we strongly suggest that reservations be made four to six weeks in advance.
• To receive your first choice of tour theme and date, please call early. We regret that we may not be able to provide guided tours for every request.
• One teacher or chaperone is required for every ten students and is admitted free of charge. Additional adults pay the current museum admission rate.
