Designed for the younger adventurer, Museum Adventure Mornings programs are offered two days each week for four weeks from 9 am to 12 noon. Weekly themes provide a framework for our exciting daily activities. Nature and art crafts, museum visits, science experiments, outdoor activities, games, songs, dramatic play and carousel rides will keep our adventurers on their toes! The program culminates with a slide show of all our summer fun for parents and guardians.

Session One
Ages 4 to 6; Mondays & Wednesdays: July 21, 23, 28, 30; August 4, 6, 11, 13
Session Two
Ages 4 to 6; Tuesdays & Thursdays: July 22, 24, 29, 31; August 5, 7, 12, 14
Weekly themes for our youngest bunch include Puppet Pals (storytelling & puppets); Making Sense (five senses); From A to Z (alphabet adventures); and Nature Explorers (plants & animals).
 
Session Three
Ages 5 to 7; Mondays & Wednesdays: July 21, 23, 28, 30; August 4, 6, 11, 13
These adventurers will explore Trickster Tales (storytelling & drama); Secret Garden (plants & insects); Amazing Architecture (buildings & bridges); and Wacky Weather (weather & storms).
 
Session Four
Ages 7 to 9; Tuesdays & Thursdays: July 22, 24, 29, 31; August 5, 7,12, 14
This session provides more advanced projects and experiments for older children. Weekly themes include POP! (pop-up books); Trailblazers (orienteering); Road Work Ahead (cars & inventions); and PSI: Plant Science Investigations (plants).
 
Lunch Bunch Option
Stay for lunch! Our extended day Lunch Bunch program allows your child to linger longer from noon – 2 pm. We’ll eat lunch, and then the day’s fun continues with more activities, games and projects. You may choose to stay for Lunch Bunch on one day or two days each week. Please note, your Lunch Bunch registration is in addition to registration for the Museum Adventures sessions, and you must sign up for the entire four week period.
